people need to let go of the past, i'm fed up with hearing "(insert name here) would have been ripped apart if he fough in any other era", fighters from the 70's and 80's are ridiculously over-rated on here, even average guys like mancini.

Hes just like everyone else in that era. The HW division then was sweeet. Guys fought different. Nobody has ever fought like PBF expect like a RJj maybe...who came 1st but not long. But the style now is switching to counters. Mancini's age didnt have that...they boxed...pure and simple. Boom Boom came up during Holmes reign and his jab was laser...Vlads is not. Effective yes...but lackluster in the old timers minds.

That was a era of guys that was 2nd generation to the effects of life after boxing. Information techmology wasnt how it is now. Guys of today are adapting in style to whats safest. Just smarter minds doing smarter things.
