Mayweather by decision. Both are fast, Floyd has better defense. I doubt Floyd worries about Spinks power. The casual boxing fan would not want to see this fight. I think Floyd would try and pressure Spinks like he did Judah and try to break him down.

Floyd by KO when Spinks collapses from the exhaustion of making 150. In other words, I don't think Cory could make 150.

This is the kind of fight lots wouldnt want to see because it boring in there eyes... but I see it as very tactical, there the kind of fight I dont mind watching at all.. I think im one of few who didnt mind watchinhg spinks vs taylor. I think this is a close fight that can go either way. Both very fast and hard to hit, both have great footwork and handspeed..

I said this to you in the other thread when I saw you bring up Spinks but you didnt see it. Here's what I wrote: How can you say that when Floyd was about to fight Spinks a million times but never does it because every time he brings up his name he gets ripped for it. If the fans & media would accept it then he wouldve fought Spinks before easily. Everyone knows that but the only one who accepts it is Greg Leon. All the rest of the media & fans give him an immediate crazy backlash when he says anything about that fight.

My question to you is have you been on these boards? No one likes Spinks. There has been a thousand of articles in the last few years about Floyd thinking about Spinks and then everyone in the media and on this board rips Floyd and calls him a punk. There are only a few of us who like Spinks. I would love to see that fight and I think Spinks is maybe the most underrated guy out there. Ive gone back & forths on this fight. Not on the fact that Floyd would win but how close it would be. I use to think that Spinks could give him trouble but then I thought that Floyd would kill him. Part of my reason for the change is that Spinks seems to fade late in fights and hasnt been as super sharp recently. I also thought he could give Floyd trouble because it was a thought that Floyd struggled against South Paws. He had some shaky moments against Chop & Zab but overall he has pretty much dominated them & Mitchell so I think he feels very comfortable against lefty's now. Spinks still could possibly give him some trouble but I dont see him winning

Floyd is simply the better boxer. He wins.

But the only way I could ever see this fight actually happening is if Spinks had beaten Taylor and then Floyd would challenge Spinks for the Middleweight Championship.

That would have to be two of the smallest guys fighting for the middleweight title.

I never thought spinks had a big fan base.. I just like how he fights.. And was just curious to see what people think the outcome of this tactical match-up would be.
