Winky Wright: "I Want Oscar De La Hoya"

Winky Wright made it clear that fighting Bernard Hopkins at a catch-weight of 170-pounds is a one-shot deal. On a recent conference call with the media, Wright said that he is not light heavyweight and has no intention of staying at the weight. He plans to move back down to the middleweight or super middleweight division. He only took the fight with Hopkins to prove that he can beat him. [details]

Maybe if Sturm would have kept winning. That knockout loss to Castillejo, although avenged, killed that.

De La Hoya is just bigger than boxing.
          Everyone wants that big paycheck.
          Wright jabs him to death.

Anyway, if De La Hoya or Mayweather can't happen.
I say Winky goes to 168lbs. and follow Jermain Taylor.

If Winky, Pavlik, Miranda and Taylor all move up to 168, Super-middleweight automatically becomes the best division in boxing.
