thats damn true... Floyd like oppononts who come forward and brawl.. he looks real good against guys like that.. weak defense and bad footwork.. A guy with shanes speed and power is last thing he wana fight right now.. I wonder if he would fight cory spinks...Comment

but the point is your acting like he didnt ask Shane to fight? How come its alright for Shane to turn him down but not alright for Floyd to do it? Lets also remember that Shane turned him down for nothing and then ended up fighting Collazo while Floyd is fighting Hatton. Huge differnce. Also, who's to say Floyd wouldnt be fighting Mosley if Hatton had loss? He didnt rule out the Mosley fight and he even sounded like he was going to do it again. Everyone said he was fighting in November and it pretty much came down to Mosley or Hatton. You cant say that Floyd is scared of him or wouldnt fight him because you know thats not true. Also, alot of people think Hatton is easily the harder fight. He's the guy who can rough Floyd up, hold him, is undefeated, is younger, and has speed. Shane is older, some would argue that Hatton's hand speed is close to him, and you could say that Shane would fold easier because he's lost but Hatton hasntComment

think alot of people would argue the opposite. I think others would say that Castillo gave him the most problems and others picked both Cotto & Margarito to beat him. They think those guys could overwhelm him just like Hatton could. Mosley has got skills and will make it a little rough but alot of that fight would be on the outside and most think that no one is going to beat Floyd on the outside in a boxing match.
Part 2 is I want you to respond to what I asked you the other day. How can you not like Floyd but like the guys you have on your favorite fighters list? It makes no sense to me.Comment

i cannot respect mayweather until he fights margarito. he told tony to his face that he would get his shot but mayweather has ran from him like a coward.Comment

I don't care what anyone says, including Floyd himself. He would have never fought Mosley in February, and then Oscar in May. We could say Mosley ducked Floyd in November if he didn't actually take all those months off like he said he was doing.but the point is your acting like he didnt ask Shane to fight? How come its alright for Shane to turn him down but not alright for Floyd to do it? And you know what. There might be a double standard, but I don't give a ****. The bottom line is, I want to see the best fights in boxing just like everyone else, and although Hatton/Floyd is an exciting match up, I think Mosley is the better fight. So if Mosley "ducked" Floyd before then fine. That doesn't mean Floyd gets a free pass.Comment

Good post
Unfortunately, the top dog will always get criticized in any sport, and in life in general. Goes with the territory.
I posted similar concerns in a different thread, but in much less words.
I feel Floyd should finally get his props for taking on Hatton.
If he beats Hatton in dramatic fashion, then he might win some converts.
