    How Quickly We All Forget!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is long but a misread if you really want to be real with yourself which I know most of you dont. How quickly people forget and how quickly people switch up the facts. People talk about Floyd's resume but peep what his last 4 or 5 fights couldve or shouldve been. Zab's name is a joke now but people forget how high he was rated after the Spinks win. Everyone was sweating him and everyone was talking about how they want to see him vs Floyd because it would be so much freakish talent in one ring. Both Floyd & Zab signed for the fight and that was at the height of Zab's career and at a time when he looked his most dangerous. Everyone forgets that. That fight was sealed just like this Cotto-Margarito fight is. Its already set but Margarito just has to get by Williams 1st. That fight was also set but Zab only had to beat Baldy who no one even knew of. Everyone was giving Floyd props for that and couldnt wait but then Zab loss. Floyd still fights him and wins.

Nowdays all of assudden the big thing is that Floyd is a punk who ducked Mosley and is so scared of him but at the bottom of this page you see the truth. After Floyd beat Zab and after Mosley killed Vargas, Floyd called him out. Infact if you remember he called him out even before the the 2nd Vargas win and let the world know that he would definatly fight Mosley if he were victorious but now everyone tries to act like they dont remember. Mosley seemed up to it at that time but quickly changed after he knew Floyd was serious. That leaves Floyd to fight Baldy who just beat Zab, killed Gatti, and was the real 147 pound Champ.

Then ofcourse Floyd gets the Oscar fight that he wanted and everyone wanted to see. I can pull up a million threads on here when after the Mayorga fight how alot of people said Oscar would either kill Floyd, beat Floyd, or it would be a close fight. Everyone wanted to see it at that time. Now those same people are trying to play like that win means nothing and Oscar was a old guy who Floyd shouldve never fought.

So look at the fights Floyd really just tried to legitmatly make. He had it all set up to fight a prime Zab, then Mosley, and then Oscar after all 3 of those guys were coming off of monsetrous wins and everyone was sweating them. Then guess who Floyd wants to fight now? Ricky Hatton, after he just flat out destroyed Castillo and is on the top of his game. He picked all 4 of those guys after a fight in which they have looked the best they have looked in a long time and when most people would be scared to fight them. You could even throw Baldy in that mix after he destroyed Gatti. This guy gets so unfairly criticized that its not even funny. Look at all those legetimate big fights he just tried to make but yet you here that he doesnt want to fight anyone or he wants to fight them once he sees that there down or on the decline which this proves is not only false but the complete opposite or reality.

Lets also look at some other hating things. The other guy he fought in the group is Baldy who hasnt lost in like 9 years besides the Floyd loss. He flat out beat Zab & killed Gatti but gets no credit. Now what if he beats Forrest? Will he still get no credit and will Floyd's win still be garbage? Thats another big win and he could give anyone at 147 huge trouble. Also lets look at the Zab fight. Floyd beats Zab and he's a punk, Baldy beats Zab but he's just lucky and caught a Zab who wasnt ready, Cotto beats Zab after he already lost those 2 fights, was suspended for a year and had a no contest fight but somehow Cotto gets turned into the biggest thing in boxing? He's a bum for Floyd but when he fights Cotto it makes him a P4P guy who is the hottest name in the sport and makes him elite? Everyone says that Floyd beat an old guy in Oscar but a ton of people said that he could beat Floyd after that Mayorga fight and people forget that Floyd tried to fight Oscar for years. If he is old then how is that a bad thing on Floyd? Floyd wanted to fight Oscar when he was in his prime. How does he get ripped for that. Oscar may have never fought him and somehow Floyd wouldve still got ripped.

    PART 2

Now he wants to fight a undefeated P4P guy who just killed Castillo in a couple of rounds and in his prime but some people are still ripping him. Some say dumb things like Floyd is at WW ducking Mosley and looking to fight a Jr. WW? Now your going to tell me that Floyd is the big guy. He's the one who started at 130, everyone knows is much smaller then Hatton, and he's older but Floyd is somehow the one picking on the little man? Floyd is the punk because Hatton cant move up 1 weight class when Floyd has been a champ in 5? You can see its just hate because you know for a fact that if we went back to right after the Castillo fight and Hatton openly challanged Floyd but instead Floyd chose Mosley then everyone would be calling Floyd a scared punk who wants to fight a old man instead of the young lion. You also know that there would then be tons of threads talking about how Floyd is ducking Hatton even though we all know for a fact that Floyd has been wanted that fight. Its the same way there saying that Floyd is ducking Mosley even though they all know Floyd flat out offered him a fight. Peep this story below from last year. This flat out proves that Floyd wanted Mosley and not Baldy. He still fought Baldy as a great backup if you ask me and he gets no credit for it. Baldy would probally still be a champ right now at 147 if Floyd had fought Shane instead. All of this but people still put Baldy on Floyd's list of bums and put Shane on the list of people Floyd ducked.

Mayweather: "I'll Beat Mosley, Then De La Hoya" Recommend this page Printable version

    By Mark Vester

There were doubts that Floyd Mayweather would face a tough opponent prior to possible a May 2007 meeting with Oscar De La Hoya, but Mayweather insists that a big name opponent is exactly what he wants before he meets the Golden Boy.

During a recent interview with The Arizona Republic, Mayweather told the paper that he is willing to fight Shane Mosley first, then gun for De La Hoya. Mayweather called Mosley a piece of bait towards a showdown with De La Hoya.

"Shane don't understand, but he's just the bait. First, I'll beat Shane and then I'll beat his boss. Oscar is not going to retire. How are you going to retire without fighting the best, and Im the best".
    ---------------------------------------

Now go ahead and try to spin in by calling someone a Floyd hugger but still knowing that you cant distort the facts. Also, please refrain from saying gay ****. Nothing gets under my skin more then someone having to put you down by saying sexual ****. Thats what little kids do. I real man doesnt say to another some **** about balls, ****, or whateva. Thats childish **** and I be wanting to kill a motha ****a when they do that. People on the street who know me know that I dont even play around with **** like that. If you disagee then you do but try to do it without name calling. If you have to resort to that then please dont come with no sexual **** because real men dont do that and I hate hearing it or reading it

People who hate floyd will never give him credit for anyone he beats, and will always make up some fighter he ducked or should have fought instead.

If the fight is at 147 hattons fans will blame the weight for the loss, so I hope it happens at 140 where floyd has more speed and power, but since floyds been at welter weight for awile now it will probably be at 147.

Wow, I thought I was long winded. Anyway, I am the biggest Floyd Hater ALIVVVE, But I will give him credit if he signs to fight Hatton, as I believe it is the best challenge out there(next to Cotto) at the moment.

The man has caused all this hatred himself. I will not go into the history. It should be very clear at this point That Floyd chose the easy road. Makes good business sense, but as a fan, I don't watch boxing to see economic genius in action-I watch to see warriors battling! Floyd has a chance to face the best NOW-lets see what he does with it, and that should say everything that needs to be said about Floyd's greatness or lack there of!!!

Fighting Hatton is fine. I just think Mosley is the tougher fight, and he knows it.
