Thank God For The Welterweight Divison

There are so many great fighters fighting between 140-154 pounds right now. From the champions all the way down to the young prospects, this part of the scale is loaded right now.

It couldn't come at a better time either. The heavyweight division has been down for a few years now. Can you imagine if the lower weights were down as well? Boxing would be almost completely off the map. Thank God for the welters.

When I think welterweights, I think happy thoughts.

I mean look how many great welterweights will have fought between May and July this year. Pretty much all of them except Mosley. Amazing division where a lot of the right matchups are happening. They have to keep it going though. The four or five best have got to face each other after this weekend's results.

The WW division has been great for many many years now, all started back in the 90's with a kid named De La Hoya among many other names but i think De La Hoya really got many fans watching

On second thought, this division sucks. Give me the heavyweights! This is one of the best heavyweight eras ever!
