Do you feel Calzaghe is currently in his prime?

He was quite anonymous until last year so yeah he has to be in his prime! Plus, a performace he put in last year (against Lacy..) was by far the best of his life... so yeah I suppose you could say he is.

But the Calzaghe who finally found his 1996/97 form again against Sheika, Woodhall and Veit would be what many British boxing fans consider his prime. Though others would say his greatest sports moment was against Mitchell.

He's had his ups and downs, that's for sure. His downs have been very bad, yes, but his ups have been cool!

joe himslef has said, that the calzaghe of today, would beat the calzaghe from 5 years ago.. so its safe to say, that he is in his prime..

whats hard to predict is, whether his prime is coming to an end or will continue..

I don't see how he could be in his prime when he gave lacy a beatdown. In that case he was (is) more experienced plus his style seems to offset Lacy's sluggish maneuverability.
