A source who's spoken to someone in the Maskaev camp says Maskaev vs Peter fight is definately not going to happen...it will be McCall or Virchis vs. Peter for the WBA title, Maskaev is giving up the WBA belt.

Exactly! This is just a ploy for a fair deal by team Maskaev. The fight may or may not happen but I think it still will.

What a chump move!!! Punks like that should be unable to fight for the belt again for a year!!! Who walks away from a world title??? I blame this on all the different Alphabet belts and all this super champ ****!!! No one respects the world titles they have now!!!
