of course that wasn't staged, do you really think they're so soul-less to stage a brawl at the expense of kathy duva almost getting pummeled? vargas, you can just TELL isn't one for taking kindly to the **** that'll be coming out of mayorga's mouth, i remember thinking during the tito / mayo build up that this is something some men, like vargas, would never accept.

judging from the pictures, i was definitely right in my assumption about vargas. he comes up short in some big fights, he will NOT in this one, but vargas is a guys guy.

hopefully they put mayorga in as a favorite, i'm trying to make some money.

You know I can't believe I'm saying this but I agree with you 100% . Just playing man, but I agree, Love or hate Vargas he gets my repect for being a standup guy. I don't know why he gets called a "bum" or a "loser" because he's only lost to the best. He has alot of heart and never dissrespected his opponents the way Mayorga has.

I like Vargas, he may not be a great fighter but he has balls and you know after he lost to Trinidad he hung out with him in Puerto Rico and got alot of repect in PR. Winning records don't equate to a great fight, it's styles that make a great fight and these two guys have perfect styles for each other.

He talks **** just as much as Vargas , they both are insecure and have to prove how man they really are by talkin all that ****. This fight is not ppv worthy nor is it worth spending 45 bucks to see but it will be a good scrap from 2 played out fighters. Mayorga is a 147 fighter , he can't punch at higher weights and blocks punches with his face. Vargas fights in slow motion now and gets hit more and more but has better overall skills.
