i think they were really pissed at each other...Mayorga got cut from a punch thrown in this...if this is just a ploy to drum up interest for the fight it worked, im more hyped now than ever...Its a fight that means nothing but it will be exciting as hell...Vargas destroys Mayorga, im saying this as someone who's a bigger Mayorga fan than Vargas.

Hopefully it's gona be a great fight. I just hope its a war and after the fight both fighters retire as they are wankers. Also i hope its not a fight where both fighters age over night and dnt want to brawl any more.
If they both fight like they normally do then it's gona be a war maybe even fight of the year material. As no one is routing for mayorga i'll say him by ko in rounds 8-10.

This fight was potentially huge before DLH hand-picked Mayorga for destruction and Mosley got somewhat fortunate in the first fight with Vargas and then obliterated him in the rematch.

It is still a nice, potentially all-action fight, though, and I think it's going to be a great promotion (the potential undercard looks very solid). A great way for Vargas to end his career.

of course that wasn't staged, do you really think they're so soul-less to stage a brawl at the expense of kathy duva almost getting pummeled? vargas, you can just TELL isn't one for taking kindly to the **** that'll be coming out of mayorga's mouth, i remember thinking during the tito / mayo build up that this is something some men, like vargas, would never accept.

judging from the pictures, i was definitely right in my assumption about vargas. he comes up short in some big fights, he will NOT in this one, but vargas is a guys guy.

hopefully they put mayorga in as a favorite, i'm trying to make some money.
