Floyd is skilled but you must see what he is doing.. he picks fights wisely.. yes he has won titles in different weight divisions, but honestly read up on who he fought to win those titles... yall are blinded...
I agree... Floyd is OVERRATED. Look into his eyes. Even he deep down knows this. I see fear.
in what weight catergory?
140 - Hatton has a chance
147 - no chance at all....
This makes no sense to me. What is the difference? Please explain.
The weight for this fight means ZERO. Repeat: ZERO.
All "147" means for this fight is that the guys don't have to dry out on fight week. They can both go out and "make 140", but why bother? Hatton was 151 for his last fight. PBF was 148 for his last fight.
It's not like Ricky is fighting a bigger guy. At 140, their weight differential would be the same.
And if the IDEA of 147 scares Ricky, he is always welcome to weigh in at 140.

Yes, lets examine how he picks his fights wisely....He has beaten the Ring Magazine champion at 130, 135, 147 and 154, which means he has beaten the best fighters in four of the five weight divisions he has fought in -- all while Ricky Hatton was avoiding him like the plague. Hatton, on the other hand has fought exactly ONE top 10 fighter in any weight division in his entire 40 fight career.
Who else should he have fought at 130 -- Acelina Freitas, the guy who quit in his two toughest fights or Casamayor, who has lost to both Freitas and Corrales (a man Mayweather knocked out)? Who should he have fought at 135 -- Stevie Johnson --, the man who was beaten twice by Jose Luis Castille, whom Mayeather beat twice? Who should he have fought at 140 -- Ricky Hatton, the guy Mayweather wanted to fight in his first fight at 140 but was turned down by Hatton's overprotective promoter or Kostya Tyszu, the man who chose to fight Hatton instead of Mayweather? Who should he have fought at 147 instead of Carlos Baldomir, the Ring Magazine champion or Zab Judah, the Ring Magazine champion that Baldomir deposed? Should he have fought Margerito, the guy who lost a stinker in his last fight to the slapper Paul Williams? Who should he have fought at 154 other than De La Hoya? Travis Simms -- the guy who lost an equally bad stinker in his last fight?
By all means, look at who Mayweather has fought. And then look at who Hatton has fought. If you are anything other than a Mayweather hater, you will see the ridiculousness of you last post.
Fenech is one of the few people to agree with me that Floyd didnt get out of 2nd gear with Oscar. Everyone is saying how close it was but you could easily tell that Floyd was cruising in that fight. It looked like he wasnt even trying hard.
Not trying hard, or he was tired?...haha, how can you not try hard if you can in a close fight?, floyds stamina is over rated, and he can't throw more than 50 rounds per round especially at that weight.
which means he has beaten the best fighters in four of the five weight divisions he has fought in
No it doesn't. The Ring championship is the closest to a real champion but the champ isn't necessarily the best fighter. There's no way you could convince me that Carlos Baldomir was the best fighter at 147 lbs. I'm not knocking Floyd's career but you're way off base here.
Hatton, on the other hand has fought exactly ONE top 10 fighter in any weight division in his entire 40 fight career.
The ring rated Ben Tackie ninth, Collazo was ranked in the top ten at 147 and is still ranked 7th despite losses to Mosley and Hatton. Maussa had a top ten ranking following his unlikely KO of Vivian Harris, Castillo was ranked as the number one challenger at 140 lbs and Kostya Tszyu was ranked in the top three pound for pound at the time he fought Hatton. So we have at least five top ten ranked fighters defeated by Hatton, all five are in his last ten fights.
