If Margarito Beats Williams, is it a Better Win than Cotto over Judah?

I know Judah is much more accomplished than Williams, but Judah was coming off 14-month layoff due to suspension, was winless in his last 3 fights prior to Cotto, and hadn't won a significant fight since beating Spinks 2 and a half years ago.

In Williams, we have a hungry fighter who is entering his prime, is undefeated, is a giant welterweight, and has reportedly knocked Margarito down in sparring.

If Margarito beats Williams this weekend, would that win be more impressive than Cotto's win over Judah?

I voted no because Williams is a untested prospect with a lot of potential which means nothing without production. Judah was at least at points in his career in the p4p rankings I believe and the undisputed champ at welterweight. So far Williams has done nothing but beat the people he was supposed to beat and Saturday is his first step up in competition against someone who is supposed to be on his level.

I say no at this point because Judah has been an undisputed welterweight champion before. It could turn out to be better if Williams goes on to achieve outstanding success, but as of this weekend, it wouldn't be. We just don't know enough about Williams.

You can't say Williams is more dangerous as of now. Judah is the highest risk-lowest reward fighter on Earth right now. He could catch anybody on any given night. He almost got Cotto AND Mayweather. Granted, he wasn't THAT close, but he got their attention.
