    CLEARLY not classics...

Some of the fights on espn classic are boring as hell, why do they show them? They do pick good ones, but they mess it up by showing fights where the boxers aren't really doing anything for about 7 rds then at the 8th round someone is KO'd

Why don't they show fights like marquez vs. Pacman, you know more recent fights.

As long as they dont show the same fights over and over and over and over like they were doing for so long.

I think they still ARE showing the same fights over and over again. Considering they have Bill Cayton's collection of fight films they should be able to go a year without repeating a fight. And why in hell do they have to put ESPN commentators PRETENDING to call the fight instead of having the original commentary? I'd rather hear Don Dunphy and Howard Cosell any day over Bob Papa.

Well they can only show fights they have the rights to, correct? So they're drawing from a limited pool to begin with.

They don't own the rights to a fight like Pac-JMM, so they can't show it.

Naturally I would assume the next time Pac and JMM fight on HBO (PPV), they will replay that first fight to build up the rematch or have it on HBO on demand.
