He's a street cat and he's good a hood mentality while also being a sumpremely confident guy. We must not forget that he's the one who called Margarito out when no one was mentioning his name and there was nothing fake about that. He's the one who sparred with Margarito and stilll wanted him. What could turn him into a nervous wreck all of assudden? That is not going to happened. He might win, he might when big, or he might get Cintroned but it aint going to have nothing to do with nerves. This cat not only believes that he's better then Margarito but he believes he's the best one out there between 147 & 154 and nothing will change that but a loss. Dont read too much into the other stuff. He may be having problems but nerves and confidence arent one of them

I am very concerned about Williams' preparations for this fight, with great reason to be. This is a huge step up from anyone he's fought previously. Just like Cintron, who went in against an "average fighter" in Margarito, he was perhaps the more talented but just stepping way up in class. Williams may be biting off way more than he can with the experienced and rugged Margarito.

For the record, Williams doesn't have nearly the offensive arsenal or the defensive skills to deal with Margarito. Maybe Williams is beginning to realize that as well.

You guys are trying to twist my words. I said nothing about the fight itself. Infact Ive always said that I have no ideal what will happened because we know so little about Williams. He could be this new Hearns freak or Margarito could straight decapitate him. The only thing Im sure of is that it will be a war and a guaranteed FOTY.

Stop twisting my words because I never said anything about how Williams is going to kill him. Im speaking strictly about the topic of his nerves, confidence, or how scared he is and I said he definatly wont be. Its not his makeup or mentality the same way it isnt Margarito's. He may get destroyed but it wont have nothing to do with him being nervous or scared. I said that he may have some problems which could be something like weight but whatever it is, its definatly not his nerves and he's definatly not getting shooked. This guy is genuine with his feelings and there's nothing soft about him as a person

As we're going to find out this weekend, Kermit Cintron (who Tony beatdown, from pillar to post) is A LOT better than sorry ass Walter Matthysse (who gave Williams a fight for a minute). Yet the same people who claim Margarito is overhyped take no issue with Williams' regard as the future of the division being based SOLELY on hearsay and speculation.
            Hes 6'4" btw...boxrec is facked...

Who has Margy or Cintron beat that better than Shamrba? Cintron was having trouble w/some gibroni from florida that trains old ladys in some resort. IF that guy gave Kermit problems...then whats Walt goona give him?

Far be it from Pound4Pound to come to any unwarranted assumptions, but it will be interesting to see how Williams looks when the bell rings for the fight he has been shouting from the rooftops for.

Paul better be ready Saturday night. I hope he isn't ****in himself up. He better not disappoint against this average fighter. He called out for Margarito he needs to wipe this clown Margarito out of sight.
those arent jitters. hes trembling in fear because he realizes that this saturday he will be leaving the ring on a stetcher. he is feeling the same fear that other fighters have felt in the past.

OMG. Neither Margarito or Williams are world class fighters like a Mayweather or a Mosley. If Margarito wins I'll say he's top 4 or 5 welterweight. If he loses I wouldn't be surpised. You Margarito fans better pray he wins.

People continue to hate on Margarito and call him all hype, but he's a hell of a fighter. I'll never forget when he fought Sebastian Lujan, and punched Lujan's ear basically off his head. It was hanging by the thread, and as the camera zoomed in on Lujan's ear, Teddy goes 'If you have small children, you may want to tell them to leave the room'...Mind you, he did that damage with a punch.

Williams will definately lose this fight, he drops his hands alot and lacks very much technically. Especially after he punches, watch him, his hands drop all the time. Margarito's going to really hurt this boy.

He's a hell of a slow fighter. I don't mind the hype but don't bull**** telling me Winky and Floyd are scared to fight him. They'd both make him look ******.

Sharmba Mitchell was ancient and he's never been a great fighter anyway. Real tough beating a shot 36 year old, 5'7" fighter who can't even reach your chin.

Andrew Lewis, Kermit Cintron and Antonio Diaz were all better wins for Margarito. Margarito also has experience against tall southpaws who are a bit bigger than he is.
