How about you re watch his fights and you'll see how bad it was. All he did was push the jab, hold........push the jab and then throw a right behind it. Occasionally he'd throw a right cross to the body (which was his best punch in fact, see what it did to Tua and McCall both cringed when it landed). Also there was a moment where he'd throw a couple of uppercuts but guess what? Right after he was done clinching.

My point is there seems to be a double standard about that.
because he didnt clinch as much as people say he did. People even come on and post that he held tua a lot, yeah, about 3 times in 12 rounds lol.
Watch wlad vs. peter if you want to see holding, that was enough to make ruiz and akinwande jealous, it was clamping on, not clinching.

I don't know what's worse........getting repeatedly knocked down and making attempts at getting right up or being KTFO COLD.

Strange! because it only happened once, not twice!!!!! Even then he was up on his feet at 10 and not lying on his back for 5 minutes like jones. He was up at 6 versus mcall. Wlad went down to sanders and got a 14 second count!!!!!! he then fell back down without another significant punch landing!!!!! he was knocke dout by the first sanders knockdown.

Lennon Lewis built up his record fighting smaller men - he had quite a reach advantage over his opponents. How well would he have done if he was the same size as his opponents? He perhaps shouldn't have needed to clinch so much to win, if he really was an ATG.

A healthy McCall KOed Lewis (Oliver was a messed up crack addict by the second fight). Golota wasn't really a good fighter, just big and strong as we all saw in his Brewster fight. Vitali was winning against Lewis until he was cut - they should have taken a better look at Lennox's gloves in that fight!

Even more so Its funny.. How Lennox was KO'd twice.. and was even counted OUT in one of them... Yet No one calls him a BUM for having a Few KO losses..
I am sure Wlad being a European and white has a lot to do with it..

No Welter, I'm sure dominating & KO'ing Rahman cold in the rematch & making Oliver McCall in their rematch have a nervous crack breakdown in the middle of their fight has something to do with it. He avenged both loses easily after getting KO'ed & I can't stand Lennox Lewis.

Lewis did clinch alot in his fights but people overlook that because he fought almost everyone in the heavyweight division & beat them. The 3 fighters he didn't fight (2 of which weren't his fault) were Ike Ibeabuchi, Rid**** Bowe, & Chris Byrd.

Also it is more acceptable for a heavy to hold. Not someone at 147 holding all the time....HATTON!!!

You Klitschko fans love your conspiracy theories. Yeah Lewis was a fraud, he bluffed his way to being undisputed champion.

PS there is a video on youtube whereby Klitschko holds excessively against Peter [not that I support such latent propaganda], holding can be used as an aide to victory, shouldn't be THE main tactic used to get the 'W'.
