i don't think he's finished but i'd like to see him rematch Donaire...for one reason only......

he could take an easier path and have tune-ups etc, but, unless Vic completely changed his style to what it should be, he'd just get KO'd again by Donaire..........

so thats why i'd like to see him fight him again...as it would be 100% of his career on the line!..

He's not done as a top boxer. He got caught with an excellent counter left-hook and found out he wasn't invincible. Maybe this fight will encourage him to shore up his defense, which as yesterdays fight showed, has gaping holes in it.

vic's been over-rated and protected, that lunging style of his...he can only get away with that with the fighters he's been put in with by gary shaw. wich was smaller guys with slow hands. i was shocked shaw let him get in there with a fighter with decent speed, being that vic was gary shaw's and showtimes favorite boy, i seriously thought vic and shaw were having sex with eachother for a while lol..

Is Vic finished? Well, good question but too early to tell. As has been stated multiple times here, Vic was exposed because of his lack of defense and technical skills and, I might add, the guy blatantly telegraphs his punchs so that his opponent can easily time him. I think he got away with it so much in previous fights is because his opponnents were imtimidated of his power...

Well, after Zab came back after his chicken dance, there's no reason why Vic's chicken dance will keep him sidelined. Hell, if you ask him, he wasn't even knocked down!

That was no 'chicken' dance, that was more like a 'drunken Armenian' stagger dance!!....

The reason why I liked Vic in the first place was his awkward style. After this fight though it's obvious that he needs to work on his defense and add more variety to his game. He's not done and will probably be back, but this loss set him back for sure.

Vic should have learned that Donaire was only looking for the counter left and should have started winning the fight with his jab. Setting up punches and all of that.

Of course he is going to be back... He wants a rematch which is fair because he basically rematched Donaire, only his brother... His brother learned a lot from the other Donaire fight.

How's vic finished? This makes no sense, he had the other boxer stunned in the first round even if vic wasn't as fast. I think vic is still stronger then the other boxer. I just think the other boxer had the skills and speed. This fight wasn't as one sided as people on this forum are making it out to be. It was still pretty close as either man could have been ko'd last night. I'd like to see a rematch.

He's done. Honestly beause he is 31 years old and suffered this type of set-back which a little too late in his career for flyweight. If this had happened to him earlier in his career maybe he could've went back to the drawing board and worked on his defense (he has NONE) but flyweights don't really go past 33 years old which is considered old in that division.
