Well done Donaire, VIC looked past the wrong guy and paid the price.

We love you VIC, I know you will bounce back in no time. Hopefully in a rematch against Donair, or just fight Arce now since both are comin off big losses.

Sad day for me guys, but credit must be given where it is due.
I'm just wondering why Vic was'nt so gracious.....he was denying he was KOed in the post fight interview.....he must have still been in KO land when they were talking to him because he nearly went out on a stretcher.People talk about Lacy and Miranda being one dimensional......pfft Vic is the most one dimensional fighter out there right now if you ask me and was exposed by a faster man with much better skill.I would love to see the Arce fight now since they both lost recently it makes sense and will still be very exciting to watch.

Wonjongkam-donaire would be a good fight right now, i doubt donaire would be worried about fighting in Thailand either.

I think the biggest factor tonight was Donaires physical advantages plus his sustained hand speed and initiative. He really wasn't all that of a master boxer tonight, just much faster guy that made it look to some like he was.

Some at press row thought it was a draw up to that point and i wouldn't make a big deal about saying otherwise. That says a lot because I do not and have never liked Vic Darchinyan.
Definitely disagree with you there. That counter left hook was the work of a good technician/counter puncher. It takes a high degree of skill to land a punch like that that KO's your opponent. Not to mention he has a great jab to go along with his counter punching skills.

It's called 'damage control,' something a good polictician, businessman, or promoter learns how to do to minimize the impact of something adverse like this. But, on the other hand I think Vanesboxing is sincere in his praise and is one of the better 'promotional posters' on this forum....
