But of course you have a point, How Ray Austin got a title shot ill never know, i saw his draw against ibragimov and they both look like cack to me, not impressed at all.

I mean friggin Maskaev should never be a champ in any era, i used to watch this guy on eurosport i think, he's nothing and the fact that he is a champ says alot about this heavyweight division.

Lets put it this way, when a fat James Toney who started his career at 160, should have beaten (according to most, i havent seen the fight) one of the most dangerous punchers in the division, you know we are in a bad era,

2. Samuel Peter, the legitimate #1 heavyweight without a belt is getting a shot at the WBC title next and WILL beat Maskaev to set up other potential fights against the other title holders.

3. Wlad Klitschko just fought and defended his title against the guy who defeated him before.

adamek, even though I responded to your post I wasn't talking about you. If you notice I was talking to the creator of this thread and yes UFC is for idiots who come on boxing boards and try to diss boxing (with mispelled messages) and that UFC is taking over.

Yes Wlad is a good fighter in a bad division,

No i couldnt ever pick him over Lewis in his prime, he beat Vitali on 3 weeks notice or summin lol.

Wlad's problem will always be mobility, its got better last time i watched him against byrd, but i take one look at this guy and know that he's gonna have problems with someone who can close distance and get underneath his jab.

The Key to beating Klitschko, to me is avioding that right hand, i reckon if a decent puncher can do that, they got a chance.

The talent is not there, you idiot. Who cares about these fights when they are total mismatches or boring as ****? Lamon Brewster is not a top 20 fighter in any respectable era. The guy has a thick head and that's about it. No boxing skills whatsoever.

Ibragimov has no right to hold a title. The thing that is even sadder is that an even ****tier fighter, Briggs, held the title before him.

Maskaev is another terrible titleholder. How the hell he has a belt is beyond me. He has been knocked out by some terrible fighters in his career. He is such a terrible fighter that Hopkins challenged him for his HW title, which would have been a huge payday, and he turned down a 42-year-old lifelong middleweight because he would lose. This guy is absolute trash.

Chagaev struggled to beat the overprotected Valuev. Valuev struggled with Larry Donald, another old fighter who was just blown out by a prospect.
