To tell you the truth I'm sick and tired of all these boxing forums heavily populated by illiterate 12 year olds and Politically Correct overseers (the former not the latter seems to apply here).

I think we need a new boxing forum. The old Golota forum was a colorful freewheeling and funny place back in the old days - something like that. My old Prezboxing forum was OK. Didn't last too long, though. That's because I didn't actually own it.

I'm going to try a couple of other forums - I have a membership at boxrec.com. The general forum at ESB has as many haters as here, but their European boxing forum is good. We should have a special forum here at boxingscene for more mature, intelligent people that the immature haters like !! SiN, Gunstar and DiegoFuego cannot get into...

The idea of old PrezBoxing was a pretty much uncensored combo of boxing, politics, social commentary, humor, but it had to stay vaguely intelligent and vaguelly intelligible, and no stoopid gigantic sigs and avatars all the prepubescent kiddy krap. I dunno, It seemed like a good idea at teh time...


WRESTLING is a lot stoopider than boxing! It isn't even a sport - more wacky show business - and yet I see some very intelligently wrought wrestling forums with many interesting and cogent posts, including many wrestling insiders, plus irreverant stuff, politically incorrect stuff, etc and etc.

So why can't boxing have good forums like that?

It's an american thing. In no other language people start to offend others, only because somebody told his opinion.

It's the same thing with movies:
Movie in english "you mother****ing son of a *****"
Than the synchronization in another language:
" your are a damn idiot" or something like that.

Zerwas when I lived in Germany I used to laugh my ass off at the dubbing and subtitling from English to German. The example you give is a realistic one.
