Dimitrenko cant seem to **** for ****.

They say he's boring but I've seen this guy throw some nice upper cuts and hooks all at the same time....just seems to have no pop to his punches.

      - Povetkin has already fought some better opponents than Dimitrenko, although Dimitrenko's had more fights. Povetkin has now fought two "top 50" opponents, Dimitrenko has fought none. Povetkin has fought four "top 100" opponents, Dimitrenko only one. Source: IBO website.
      - Povetkin has the best amateur record of all time at super heavyweight
      - Povetkin not only won Gold at the Olympics but Gold in 11 other international tournaments, and one Silver. He's lost only once as an amateur, a controversially close decision, and he avenged that loss
      - Povetkin has never been hurt in a pro fight, Dimitrenko has
      - Povetkin has a higher KO percentage
      - They are both exciting to watch, but Povetkin is much more so because he throws more punches, is usually more aggressive and his opponents sometimes even seem to become scared of him.
      - Povetkin is an excellent inside fighter, but Dimitrenko only seems comfortable fighting on the outside

        - Povetkin is unique, Dimitrenko is like a weaker version of Wlad

That sums it up quite nicely.

I agree for the most part. Dimitrenko is only exciting when either the opponent forces him to be or when he has an absolute bum like Basile in front of him

He was floored by Chris Koval and got up to dance around and box him to a shutout. For the next few fights Dimitrenko was gun shy. Fernely Feliz hurt him as well.

He seemed vulnerable to body punches in the Batchelder fight, although he won a TKO by early stoppage. He was hurt in that one as well - someone who hits as hard as Brewster or Peter would easily stop him I think, he doesn't seem to have the natural toughness of a Chagaev or a Povetkin.
