im not even sure if he will be a true world champ. i just think his style is better suited to the amateurs. but who knows, hes still young and can learn adapt.

Havent seen enough of him to know for sure. When I did see him, I didnt see anything special enough to make me think he would be number one p4p. I havent seen any prospect like that yet actually.

I doubt he could stand up against the elites of his weightclass.

Nope, personally Warren is the only reason we can speculate about it.

Defo think he'll get a belt at his weight. As long as his chin hold out and doesnt get too ****y then he can be up there with the best. Long way to go though hes only had 11-12 fights so far at pro.

I rarely make outright statements on here but there is no way Amir Khan is going to be a p4p fighter. he doesn't have real power, he's not physically strong, he's not composed when he gets tagged, and he is showing signs of falling in love with himself.
The link shows amir's power, strength and composer when he gets tagged :P

I think his standard of opposition has been fine, he's just steered clear of punchers, which is no bad thing when you're young.

I'm also a bit worried about how often he's fought. I mean he turned pro in 2006 and now almost 3 years on he's had 12 fights...c'mon, I firmly believe that guys should fight once every 2 months until they hit the top echelons of the division and are looking for a title shot.

EDIT sorry he's only been fighting for 2 years. Still he should have more than 12 fights if he really wants to perfect his craft in the pro ranks.

No chance, I would suprise if he wins a world belt in the division hes in, got great talent but not that extra spark to be near p4p.

warren may well ruin him by never giving him a chance to prove himself
