    Bring on Mayweather vs Hatton

This fight is for all the hatton fans and all the mayweather fans. The floyd haters, well they're just gonna have to wait another 6 -8 months for floyd to fight in hopes of seeing him get beat because most of them are not pinning their hopes on hatton which is whey they will do everything to discredit floyd for taking a fight with hatton.

    Good luck with that

    Now bring on hatton/mayweather

The reason I say this is because i've been reading comments on diffrents boards and I noticed most of the floyd critics are not happy with him wanting to fight hatton as if he is another bum (according to them) like baldomir. All of them seem to have jumped from the margarito bandwagon on to the cotto bandwagon. Well ok but Cotto is busy for the moment and I don't hear him calling out mayweather. Let cotto and william/margarito unify first before we start talking mayweather cotto. B

Back to hatton/pbf. It's obvious most of us fans except for the hatton-ites out there are pretty sure that floyd will beat hatton hands down so here is what I think floyd should do to make this more interesting. Obviously he can call the shots on this one like delahoya called the shots(gluvs, weight etc,.) for may5th but if he really says this is personal he should give hatton all the advantages he wants. I say floyd should make this fight at 140 where hatton feels he is at his best. Floyd should let hatton choose what kind of gluves he wants and what kind of ring size he wants which would probally be the smalles ring possible. Not only that but mayweather should make this fight in Manchester in front of all the hatton-ites. If he does all that and beats hatton for the ring magazine 140lb title, he would send hatton into retirement Tito Trinidad style. No excuses for hatton, he would be done and would probally blow up drinking beer into depression. Meanwhile Floyd mayweather would be Ring Magazine jr.welter and welterweight champion of the world. That would even more increse his p4p status in boxing.

Floyd is not like Oscar. He wont put all that other **** into this fight. The only thing he will demand is that they fight in the US and at 147. I dont think he should fight Hatton at 140 because it could hurt him in future fights. Its not good to keep changing weight classes back & forths. He's just starting to get use to 147. It would be foolish of him now to go back to 140 and then try to come back up. Why anyway? Why should he have to do that? Hatton is bigger then Floyd, Hatton is the one who ducked Floyd at 140 when he was already asked for the fight, and Floyd has fought in 5 different weight classes but Hatton can only fight in 1? No way

I think Floyd beats Hatton pretty easily, Hatton wont be able to hug Floyd as he does all of his other opponents and not to say that he still wont be a problem but the holding wont work and Mayweather's defense is too good for Hatton's punches to really penetrate and do damage, he would get countered before he can land that one super punch. Floyd is too fast and slick for Hatton, I see this one like another Collazo but worse because Mayweather wont drop to 140 so it will have to be either a catch weight which is still more than 140 for Hatton or Welterweight and those little extra pounds will kill Hatton, all Floyd would have to do is a lot of side stepping and keep his movement up, strike when he must but stick to a solid defense, one that will have people looking more at how he shakes Hattons punches off rather than looking at Hatton's aggression, for Floyd that wont be too hard. Coillazo did what he did to Hatton because of the skill he fought back with, both Tszyu and Castillo are exchange fighters so for Hatton to beat them doesn't strike as odd and even still Kostya went 11 rounds with him.

I think Ricky should first fight Paulie Malignaggi and just keep ****ting on Mayweather's name and legacy to keep him angry, use time and patience to get into Floyd's head and somewhat knock him off his cool, a win over Malignaggi for Hatton would make a good argument for Hatton against Mayweather, as is everyone already says Floyd's biggest advantage is his boxing skills and speed so imagine if Hatton can look good against someone who out of 23 fights only knocked out 5 due to him relying on his GREAT boxing skills in Malignaggi, a win over him for Hatton and now people can say that Hatto WILL be able to take his speed and skill and the hype will be much bigger and it will give time for Floyd to stay inactive all while Ricky fights the whole time.

for Floyd I say just come back and fight Shane Mosley, thats who everyone wants to see, that will shut up basically just about anyone and then he can retire having one more great fight in his resume, he can either fight Mosley or fight Cotto, either way he wont go wrong because a win over either one of them and his legacy will be cemented, if he only wants one more fight then thats what he should do, Hatton wont make big noise in the states for Mayweather, boxing fans may want to see it but I think they would much rather watch Cotto or Mosley fight Floyd better though. Floyd should just forget Ricky and fight Mosley or Cotto and if he feels up to it fight both and retire with no doubts, take only the best risks if he has to take one, don't take one against Hatton whom isn't going to draw the kind of attention Floyd wants, if he fights Hatton he should do it at the highest weight possible.

bottomline I say Floyd Mayweather wins in similar fashion to the De La Hoya fight, I think Ricky will **** away and there will be some fake boxing fans that will give him the fight but the real observers who appreciate and respect the sport will see the skills Mayweather will showcase and he will get his win, mark my words it will be another De La Hoya-Mayweather accept worse because Ricky is smaller and slower than Oscar, doesn't hit as hard and doesn't possess the same skills as Oscar, the truth is all Floyd has to do is make Ricky fight going backwards and just disappear when he comes fourth, easy win for Floyd.. 100

                  Let's put it this way.

Hatton needs to spar with Mayweather to have a puncher's chance at beating him.

                  I'm just sayin'.
