Best Round of the Year ?

jabsRstiff, as an avid PacFan the Pac-JMM Round 1 for me, is either the best round or the worst round:

Best Round: first half of the round JMM asserting himself and showing who's the boss next minute he was kissing the canvas 3 times, last 30 secs showing the heart of a champion, while still groggy fighting back and throwing punches while still receiving bombs....


Worst Round: should have ended on the first, I saw 2 missed punches by Manny if he connected on those 2 it was all over, now I have to settle for a draw and re-match....

Interesting point on JMM asserting himself at the beginning and somehow towards the end of the round. Could be a case for jabsRstiff's idea that the best round of the year ought to be a back & forth contest. Hey, were all entitled to our own views ...

My "idea" ?

It's not my idea...it's the STANDARD.
Go back & look at any round selected as the best one of the year, by The Ring or any pblication, & you'll see not a single one was a BLOWOUT.
No round that could have been scored 10-6 will ever be "Round of the Year".

You guys are basing your pick on what round made YOU the HAPPIEST.
That isn't how it works. Be objective.

jabsRstiff, Standard to be Round of the Year is liked what you said back & forth action and never a blowout can not be denied and is a fact....

but for me, just maybe there's a chance in hell Pac-JMM R1 will be the first, and its surely did get my vote and I am Happy...
