Is Gerry Penalosa the Most Technical Filipino Boxer?

His fight with ponce de leon was a huge robbery, gerry penalosa the smaller older guy showed his skills blocking and avoiding the wild power punches heavy shots and countering beautifully.

I'd say Z Gorres. Gerry P is more experienced though. I think Z is fighting in the world cup as well. I was hoping for a rematch with Montiel, which was a tight battle when they fought the first time. I thought Z clearly won and was robbed. He's fighting some other dude though for the IBF eliminator.

z gorres is pretty good but man he lost to montiel he was not agressive enough.

but z gorres has lost early by knockout...something gerry penalosa never has gerry has a damn good chin.

        gerry losses were by decision.

Hes the dude that got robbed againts Montiel. He was giving a clinic but almost got kd late in the fight. Technically, if were not talking about chins or power, I think Z Gorres is the most technically gifted known fighter out of the P.I.

The world cup is looking like the ALA boys vs. Mexico. I woulda like to have seen Rodel Mayol in there. I think that kid is in easily in the top 5 best fighters in the P.I. right now.

Heres a clip of Z vs Montiel

i remember when gerry schooled ponce's green ass and the judges gave him 1 round that was funny as hell. ponce made the air pay by throwing 100 punches a round and hitting nothing

Too bad PEnalosa is not in his prime anymore. In his prime at 115 lbs, Penalosa can knock his opponent out cold with just one puch.

Another very good technical Filipino boxer is fighting this week on Showtime.
Nonito Donaire vs Darchinyan. Ya'll better check this one out. It's gonna be a great one.
