This is how you beat Mayweather, you stay right on his chest, bully him, muscle him, throw volumes of punches all about his body and head, arms, Hatton has a great style for this. And Hatton can sustain this attack throwing many punches, and expending energy muscling and bullying opponents for an entire 12 rounds.
This is pretty much the same advice that people were giving the much bigger and more accomplished De La Hoya.

What seems to happen is that most fighters facing Mayweather are gung-ho
before the fight. They dot the i's and cross the t's. Then, when it's time for battle, and they step in the ring, their plans go out the window for some odd reason, and they come up with a loss.

At least that's what I've observed.

Not that Ricky doesn't have a chance, and even Floyd can have an off night, but Ricky hasn't displayed a uniquely diverse talent capable of beating Floyd.

He's just an aggressive moving fighter that can be counterpunched easily.

    JMO.

De La Hoya fights nothing like Hatton. No comparisons should be made. If anybody could get him there it would be Roach and he couldn't do and beside that Oscar is benign is winning and losing. He doesn't care.

Yeah, Ricky's strong and seems to have the stamina to last all 12 rounds, but that doesn't guarantee a win.

Mayweather has got to be the favorite, i'm stil not certain that Hatton is better than the DLH that fought Mayweather. And at 140, Mayweather actually has some power. I used to thnk this would be a great matchup, but after thinking more and more, it keeps looking like a lopsided UD for floyd.

You have to Jab Floyd back to beat him, and Hatton doesn't jab very well.

Didn't quite make out that last part. But, ok, so you're saying that hatton would fight a more aggresive fight than Oscar?

Fine. Doesn't mean Floyd hasn't fought a style similar to Hatton's.

I honestly feel Floyd has had Hatton figured out for the longest time,
So, Hatton won't present anything Floyd can't handle.

It'll be a good fight while it lasts.

And, like I said Ricky will put on a good showing, but he better hope Floyd is feeling out of sorts if he thinks Floyd is just going to let him be aggressive.
