margarito would prove the bigger challenge to cotto, mosley's over the hill and would take a beating at the hands of cotto.

I have Cotto all figured out. Cotto is all about the win. He could care less how it comes, noone in boxing is hungrier than him. Though history proves the best fighters end up defeating the likes of Cotto by having a fighter spirit Cotto lacks.
I can't forget Cotto low blows vs Judah. When Judah hurt Cotto i thought "well, that does it.. " but then... we all know what happened. I hate Cotto eversince and noone can sell me that *****. Although i recongnize a talented and very strong inside fighter who won't tire and keeps going. For Mosley this is the worst matchup possible and if the fight drags on, he will get in very serious trouble. The problem for Cotto is, Mosley fights 12 rounds. Even past his best (older than Hoya he is) Mosley packs alot of punch in him and one hard combo should be enough to floor Cotto, given Mosley can protect his nuts. Very brave or insane of Mosley. I consider Mosley the second best WW of this era second only to Mayweather. One may argue Oscar De La Hoya deserves that consideration better and i sometimes think so as well (another thread). Anyway Cotto should beat Mosley if he gets past the 6th. Margarito will probably beat Williams easly and a matchup with Cotto would be awsome. He has a far better chance of beating Cotto than Mosley.

Williams defense is terrible and margarito hit hard and is fast. Williman foot movement is also not great and he doesn't have the power to stop Margarito from wanting to fight on the inside like mayweather did to hoya. Remember height isnt all that important if you don't have the power. Imagine Klitschko or Valuev in WW. they would do the usual jab but still people would come inside. To fight on the outside vs an inside fighter either you have excelent movement or/and good power. Williams doesn't seem to have either in suficient quantity to chalenge margarito..
