Who has Boxing Champs First Filipinos or Mexicans?

Just curious coming from a non mexican/filipino fight fan.

I heard the filipinos started boxing in the early 1900's and pancho villa guilerdo? was one of the greatest flyweights of all time and first filipino champ.

The first mexican champ was vicente salivder correct? and he didnt come on till the 1960s?

Baby Arizmendi conquered the first world title for Mexico in 1935.

January 1- Baby Arizmendi becomes the first world champion from Mexico in boxing history by outpointing Henry Armstrong by in twelve rounds to win the vacant California and Mexico-recognized world Lightweight titles, Mexico City, Mexico.

Yeah he lost to him 1st in 34 then again in 35, Baby musta been something special.

Arizmendi's superior boxing and effective body punching enabled him to win almost every round...Fighting with a broken left wrist from the second round, Arizmendi gave one of the most courageous exhibitions in Mexican ring history." (UPI)

Thats a report on there 1st fight on 03-11-1934 at El Toreo, Mexico City, , Mexico
