I thought the fight happening in England was due to the bigger potential gate the fight would generate. Nothing to do with having to prove anything.

I don`t know if the *********s are Floyd's fans Bobby. They do have somethings in common though. Like taking a cheap shot and then running away!

          According to who?

Here's an idea, Manchester United won the league last season. So why should they play any away games? They're the number one team in England, it doesn't make sense for them to have to go away from home.

Obviously guys like Ali, Tyson, Robinson and Lewis are so much inferior to Floyd they could go and fight abroad. But our little Que... ahem KING of Universe is too much of a noumena to go fight abroad.

But wait, did not Floyd say that he will fight if the money is right? And it seems that money could be right if he goes to fight to England.

But this is just some childish speculation, Floyd is retired, so let him go and enjoy his retirement with Las Vegas hookers, coke and Louie XIII

You guys always make the dumbest comparisons. Im not Soccer fan so I dont know how there rules work but if your talking about the regular season then thats dumb. However, if there the #1 team then they should play every game at home in the playoffs.

Im also sick of all the Hatton fans using that ****** crap about all these other great fighters going somewhere else to fight. Are you guys idiots? All those guys you named fought in a differnt Country but the guy they fought wasnt from that Country, fools. Also, every single guy you named were the crowd favorites. Japan loved Tyson & Africa loved Ali & Lewis. Its not the same thing at all. You guys dont even realize that.

You guys better just hope Hatton comes up with big money and gives Floyd most of the cake or hope that the Princess Di concert goes well and Floyd loves that atmosphere because thats the only way he will fight there. Hatton will look like the punk. He still says that Floyd is the only guy he will move up for. You got all the elite guys at 147 and he cant move up there when he is a huge guy? He's a joke. Floyd wont go over there no matter what so he doesnt look like a punk. No matter who the opponent is he wont go. However, Hatton will look like a punk if he says no to Floyd but then comes over and fights Paulie in MSG. What will be his excuse then?

Ali fought Heny Cooper in London England twice. Cooper was crowd favourite. Hagler fought Minter in England, the crowd rioted when Hagler won. A lot of champions have fought outside their home country. Refusal to fight outside the US appears to be something relatively modern.

Come on man, Cooper was no Ricky Hatton. Cooper was garbage. He already had like 8 losses the 1st time Ali fought him and he had 11 the 2nd time Ali fought. He was a protected fighter who had one of those blown up records because he never fought outside of England and he still had a bunch of losses. He fought no one else except for Johannson. Everyone else he fought was bums. Thats nothing special.

Hagler was a nobody when he fought Minter and Minter was the champ so that again proves nothing. Again, Minter was no Ricky Hatton. He had 6 losses at the time and was just a solid fighter. Hagler at that time was a nobody like Winky use to be. His career was basically just like Winky who also fought over there all the time but thats because no one knew them and they only made like 20,000 a fight. He also wanted a title so he had to go over there and get it from the higher rated guy.

Neither of those situations are even close to Floyd fighting a undefeated Hatton in Wembley when Floyd is the #1 rated fighter in the world. Never in history has anyone done something like that and you will never see it
