yea he had a terrible streak there for a while.

But i love that guy. One of my favorite trainiers and one of my favorite boxing personalities

I think his success with Gatti kind of overrated him. Next thing you know he was training everybody. I think hes much better suited just training pure boxers. He tries to turn guys like Gatti and Brewster into boxers, and its just not going to work. Malignaggi is his type of fighter, and he will bring out the best in him.

The funny thing is...I give Buddy zero credit for Gatti's turnaround...I give his promotional company (HBO) 100% of the credit. He was fighitng powderpuff's and bums for like 4 years. HBO just fed him undersized guys who were on his level for years because he was there cash cow. I mean, 3 fights with Mickey Ward, .... c'mon!!

coachs and fighter are like puzzle not every coach is suitable for every fighter visa versa and even if there is not every fighter is comfortable with every coach visa versa.

Those two elements should be there and if there not the team wont be successful
