If Mosley doesn't move his head and just hangs it out there like he did in the first fight Winky will just pick up where he left off but do it more convincingly and maybe stop him late. Mosley doesn't have the movement and is slower with his hands to really do anything at 154.
mosley has moved up in weight too much without adapting his style for fighting taller fighters.
also the extra weight has slowed him down, further eroding his effectiveness.
he is still pretty fast on the inside, but without a style to help him get in there he's pretty hopeless against top flight oppostion with a jab.
if i where mosley i'd fight every round southpaw and try to take away some of wrights compfort level and and rhythm as well as take away his jab.
if it were anyone else that would be horriable advice but mosley is a true switch hitter, in the first dlh fight mosley was losing all the rounds that dlh was jabbing in, but mid fight mosley switched southpaw and that caused dlh to stop jabbing.
that imo is his best bet, even southpaws like wright have trouble with other southpaws and maybe he can create openings for himself to score and work the body.
other than that, barring a "tarver" like k.o. i don't see him doing much in this fight.
Mosley looked totally anemic in the first fight, & I see nothing changing in the rematch.
His confidence has been steadily reduced over the last few years, & he just looks lik he has no zip or real strength at 154.
Winky is just one seriously solid pro fighter.
He's exceptional at nothing except winning.
His defense is too tight for Moes to penetrate....& even if Shane connects, there's no effect.
I say yes Sugar Shane has a decent chance to turn the table here in their rematch. This is a close one just like the first encounter. Sugar started very late on that one reason why Winky has established himself very well and was able to built up so much confidence. If Sugar can hurt Winky early it might change the Winkys disposition and fighting style.
I haven't heard anybody giving this guy a chance to win this rematch with Winky Wright, don't get me wrong I think Winky will KO him late but I was just wondering is anybody giving this guy a chance?
I like Shane, I think he's one hell of a fighter. But I do not think that he is going to be able to pull it off in regards to his upcoming fight with Winky. Winky is one of the most dangerous fighters around. He's dangerous because for so many years people have never openly given him acollades for being the fighter he is. DLH was ducking him cause he and his management were afraid of him. Winky is hungry and his reign will last. I don't see anyone beating Winky unless he moves up in weight.
