Golden Boy heard Barrera was retiring so they are sacrificing him for $$$$. I don't think any guy coming off a loss should ever be allowed in a big fight myself, but it is what it is. Hopefully Pac dusts Barrera and gets rid of him once and for all.

Its all about the money. Thats why De La Hoya gets all the big fights when he loses. Its not really fair, but I hope Barrera pulls off the huge upset and goes out a legend.

But then he would have to come back and beat Marquez. Better to be rid of Barrera now before he screws things up any more than he already has.

This is a terrible fight. Barrera lost his last fight against Marquez. Marquez is the real guy Manny should be facing to begin with to settle the disputed draw. What's there to prove by beating an already beaten man that you beat before? Nothing. Especially at this point where I believe Barrera has waited far to long for the rematch. He has no where near the stamina to compete with Manny in Manny's prime years and Manny's only gotten stronger at 130lbs. Barrera is in for another bad beating. Manny needs to get at Marquez more than anybody at this point. Manny beat Morales when Morales had already been beaten by Zahir Raheem, and now he's most likely gonna beat Barrera after Barrera already got beat by Marquez and by himself years ago.

Oh ya, I also no doubt believe this fight is for the money. Barrera is still a greater draw than Marquez and this fight will be huge.

The money is nice for Pac, but Barrera only lost by a small amount in his last fight.

Im just praying that PACQUIAO looks beyond impressive against Barrera, and Marquez looks bad against Barrios. Both of which are VERY possible.

Reason being, i want Marquez to come in the underdog for his rematch with Pacquiao, so i can put the mortgage on him and win myself a boat load of cash

Money fight! Manny lost a lot of money in the elections.

Pac should dust Barrera in October and fight Marquez a week later.

This fight should not have happened, were it not for the money. I hate to see one of my favorite fighters (Barrera) sent out of the game by my favorite fighter (Pac).

Even a 50% prepared Pac would still give Barrera a fair amount of beating.

everyone here needs to stop Bitching...this will be a great fight even if pacman wins early...remember morales vs pacquiao 3? no one complained when he knocked morales out in 3 it was fun as hell.

we need big fights like this to gain back the public interest in boxing.
