Concerns About Gatti/Gomez Fight

I think Gomez will give as good as he gets, I'm looking forward to the fight. Gomez is a good pro hes good to watch and so is Gatti. Who is the ref gonna be for the fight??

I think people are gonna be very surprised at how out of shape Gomez is gonna look. Of coarse he'll more then likely be in the best shape of his career. BUT, he still carries around "puppy fat"

This is a fight that really means ZERO on a championship scale but should be an all out war.

Gatti will do his best to avoid it but will have no choice at some point and at this stage in Gatti's career when he gets in a war he loses.

Gomez in a wild 10 round stoppage.

Great thread; maybe the ref should tell the fighters to 'take it easy on one another.' Better yet, maybe the fighters should wear head gear and use those huge 'play gloves' that celebrities use during charity boxing events...

I see Gomez (the much bigger man btw) taking it to Gatti for the first four or five rounds, and tiring out late. So Gatti TKO 9.

I was just saying to watch out b/c this fight could get ugly neither are afraid to take shots and Gomez don't have the power to KO Gatti and Gatti has the power but Gomez gots the chin to take it. Boxing is intertaining and I like a war as much as the next man but if someone during this fight is looking like their in bad shape they need to keep an eye out for it. I've watched fights at home and could tell a boxer was in extreme danger and the fight should have been stopped and wasn't and then someone dies or gets seriously hurt. I am just hoping the ref whoever it is knows going into this fight that it could get UGLY!!!!

Gomez would be a ****ing superstar if he regained the ****ing style he had early in his career and if he had ****ing stamina, honestly, gomez's all brawl style in his first 6 fights was amazing to watch....
