Everybody has to stop jumping on the "castillo was shot" bandwaon. Give Hatton his credit and stop bitching about it. I'm neither british or American so I can care less who won. I like both fighters as they provide exciting bouts most of the time.

Hell, Hatton retired Kosta Tzu who destroyed Judah. And still people say it was because Tzu was shot. Did you guys ever think that they way hatton puts pressure on his fighters just overwelms them?

He was excellent and did what he had to do, regardless of castillo being shot.

Let's just say for a minute that Castillo and Kostya Tszyu were shot.
Hatton did what he was supposed to do.
Floyd Mayweather's last 4 out of 5 opponents, were no spring chickens either. The other guy he fought was a mentally ill child who gave him a nice run for about 5 rounds.

Floyd in order to beat Hatton, he would have to run like Sugar Ray Leonard did against Duran II.
I don't see Floyd doing nothing but running in this fight.
This fight will turn out to be the biggest BOO fest in boxing history.
I would not be surprised if Ricky Hatton during the 8th. round just quit and walked out with all the rest of the fans who were getting ready to leave this snooze fest.
Floyd will not come to fight. He knows better.

For the last few days people are talking about how great Hatton did against Castillo. I mean what was so great about it. He beat a shot, needs to retire boxer with just a body shot. I mean I'm glad he won but people are seriously overrating this victory. And why are people giving Hatton a chance against Mayweather just because he knocked Castillo out (with a body shot) and Floyd didn't. People need to understand that Floyd fought a younger, hungry, prime Castillo. The fight was freaking five years ago when both fighters were at their peaks. Castillo is no where near the same fighter that he was when he fought Mayweather and Corrales. I don't know maybe I'm just not seeing something that everybody else is.

Well the thing is,Yea I think Hatton done well against Castillo to be honest! Ok he wasnt at his best, But he done the job..To be honest I never thought Hatton would have any chance with Mayweather before the DLH fight but after I saw that fight I think Hatton is in with chance! IMO DLH won that fight, And Ricky will give Mayeather more trouble than DLH did trust me..So thats why I think he is now in with a chance!
