Easy Paper
I agree w/ allstar fa' sho'. It has to be novice boxing fans referring to Mayweather's style as "running" (since when did 'stick 'n move' become running). The object of the sport (and yes, it is a SPORT) is to hit your opponent as many times necessary to win while getting hit as less as possible. People must wanna see ufc matches or rocky movies disguised as boxing matches with 2 guys beating the living daylights out of each other. That's ******..period. You fight every fight toe 2 toe..you end up looking like jose luis castillo did this past weekend (slow, over the hill, & washed up). Sure, the vargas', gatti's, corrales' (rip), morales'..etc of the boxing world are exciting to watch but they were all burnt about at or around age 30 which is ridiculous. Not only that..Floyd spends a great deal of his fights on the ropes (w/out getting hit or hit flush)..so how the hell is that running?? Anybody who doesnt think this is an ez win for Mayweather is just hatin' or knows nuthin' about the sport. Floyd has been in the ring w/ bigger..stronger opponents since moving up in wgt. Hatton's one stint at 147 almost ended in him gettin' ko'd by feather-fisted collazo. He's the perfect mark for Mayweather's skill set..he moves forward while leaving himself open to be countered & who's a better counter puncher between 147 - 154 than FMJ. Hatton's main strategy is to not only wear down opponents physically but mentally by using constant pressure. There aren't too many better conditioned boxers in the sport than Mayweather so that strategy is out the window. Has any of you ever seen Mayweather in a fight looking out of his element or winded?? (nope). Mayweather has the edge in speed, boxing ability, ring generalship, conditioning & strength (hell, De la Hoya couldnt muscle him around in their fight so why would 'lil Ricky be able to push him around). Hatton's just shoutin' out Mayweather in order to get a record payday..and Im not mad at him for that b/c the name of the game is gettin' paid. The only hinderance I see in this fight being scheduled is the money split. I dont see Floyd giving Hatton better than a 60-40 split which should suffice b/c he's the only calling out Floyd who's considered not only the p4p best at the moment but holds titles at 147 & 154 (U wanna be da man..U gotta beat da man..riiight)
