Its funny how SOME (many in my opinion)people outside of america view americans as brash, arrogant, uneducated with no coothe. I am sorry but i take offense to this statement. I dont think Wlad has near the charisma as Muhammed Ali and anyone with an open mind would agree. I think I have the abilty to discern charisma whether the person is american or whatever.

why is nationality an issue?

Nationality will always be an issue because as Americans we want boxing's hero to be AMERICAN. It's really simple I want an American to dominate boxing just like a Brit wants a Brit to dominate. It's really simple.

I can make a case of him being a **** as well.


He was one of the first fighters in history to badmouth his opponents on a constant basis and slate facts as well. I still remember how that suburbanite turned around the facts and was saying how it is him who comes from rough background and Frazier is an uncle Tom who had it easy growing up. How is it not a **** move?

well to the serious part of the issue to make a Hero we need a villian and Floyd seemed to be the right person. If you seen a big PPV fight the hero should be fighting a villian its like the WWE there should be some issues surrounding a hero other than boxing so his stautes goes up.

Iceman made a post about Ali's bottom feeding fringe relatives trying to get fat off his name and this made me think. Man, we need a hero in boxing.
No one in todays game could hold a candle to Ali's wit and involvment in major issues going on in the world. The world needs hero's again. Ali, where have you gone Joe Dimaggio? Dion said it well "anbody here see my old friend abraham, martin or john. Hey pretty boy floyd how about instead of spouting your bull**** rants about money and 50 try doing something for your country and your people.. THIS COUNTRY NEEDS HERO'S!!!!
