RICKY HATTON is “chomping at the bit” to fight Floyd Mayweather. Light-welterweight Hatton, 28, cannot wait to set up a super-fight with the American legend, who is ready to come out of retirement for the clash.
Hatton’s dad Ray said: “We’re up for the fight — you’ve got to be up for one like that.
“But it doesn’t always end with the two fighters, there tends to be a few people getting in between.
“Ricky is chomping at the bit. I’ve spoken to him a little bit before all this came out and he said it’s a no-brainer. It’s a definite Yes.”
