I follow the fight game pretty closely and can't understand why you're defending Ricky on this. Simply stated Hatton hasn't said or done anything substatially indicates he's ducking PBF, so why give this debate life by weighing-in on the question?

I still cannot get over how negative the Floyd fanatics are being about this. I haven't seen many Hatton crazies claiming Floyd will duck out too but it wouldn't surprise me.
Surely every single one of us WANTS this fight to happen. Whoever wins this is a huge fight for both. Neither of them has fought such a lively, top of their game fighter and this is a huge legacy fight.
If the few Floyd extremists are so certain of PBF's dominance, why is there such a wilful desire for Hatton's offer (initial and low but a solid starting offer) to be rejected. It seems like they actively want Floyd to turn this down.
Both fighters look like they actively want this fight. If these people love Floyd so much, they should be delighted at the possibility of Floyd fighting ANYONE, ANYWHERE for ANY MONEY.
I'm not interested in 'gate', 'ppv', location, judges or any details at all. I want to see the fight. I think Floyd will win and I think he'll be a massive fool to turn this fight down. He's already unpopular enough with a lot of people who are unhappy with his continuous ugly attitude (yeah it's just to build up fights.....for the last 3 years') and this one fight can silence a lot of critics, me included.
As for Hatton? Are you all f%£&ing crazy? Hatton will make mint and fight the reputed best fighter in the world. Win or lose, he comes out looking good. Bearing in mind even critics of Hatton agree that he's a pleasant, genial bloke and that he is often too honest (weight issues, readiness to fight, poor performances) why is he suddenly 'fronting' using Floyd's name?
Let's discuss how the fight will run, when it runs. Let's get rid of this ****-flinging paranoia from the Floyd fans.
Let's get behind this fight. No excuses for either if the fight doesn't happen.
