Hatton and Mayweather meet in bar!!

10-2 or 9-3 Mayweather.... or a late stoppage.
The very best fighters have been landing 8-10 punches per round on Floyd. That is a statistical certainty proven over time.
I think it is a safe assumption that Hatton won't land very much more than that. So, the question is whether he can do enough damage with the few punches that he does land to hurt or at least slow down FMJ.
By contrast, PBF has been very accurate vs some faster and slicker opponents. For example, Judah and Delahoya. Against the guys who are not elusive or defensive, namely Gatti and Baldomir, Floyd had them hurt/swelled/bleeding by the middle rounds.
Hatton is better than Gatti and Baldomir. I don't know if he is more durable than Gatti. I KNOW that he doesn't have TaTa's chin, strength and titanium-plated skull.
So, Hatton can't come into this bout trying to fight his normal fight because his style seems tailor-made for PBF to carve him up. The question I ask myself is: Is Hatton more than a one-trick pony? Can he bring a new wrinkle into the ring vs Floyd that will throw PBF off his game. And when Floyd adjusts by round four or five, can Hatton re-adjust to what PBF is doing in the second half of the fight?
Based on his forty fight history, I'm betting against Ricky.Comment

What an overgeneralization that's both unnecessary and untrue, not to mention somewhat immature as you derisively attempt to degrade us mere subalterns.
I'm surprised you'd say something like that, kayjay. But then again, I am boasting an IQ of about 14, since I think Mayweather's a good fighter.
