Supposedly the biggest featherweight fight in history money wise.

lets hope the rumor is true!
I would love to see if barrera can do better then last time!!! Its always hard to beat a guy who beat you so badly 1st time around!!! Hes a legend so maybe he can do it!!!

ya people kinda piss me off when they say oh but barrera lost! its funny because that was a close fight and if barrera didnt fight dirty he himself could of came out wtih the slight victory.

jmm was on the receiving end and wound up more damaged then barrera in that fight.

this fight will be HUGE! if it does go down biggest ppv featherweight bout of all times if promoted well...if pacman happens to win the Espy for fighter of the year (which i doubt he will) then they have a good take notice with that and it can help boxing.

I hope that is not the case. I don't want to see Pacman vs more old past their prime fighters. Instead put him in with the likes of Soto, Juan Diaz, and the like.

well soto and diaz are not big names they need to do some stuff to help make a image for themselfs they really lack that extra something that a barrea, or a morales has....jmm only got famous because he fought pacquiao and took him to the limit...but before that he wasnt really a marketable guy no personality at all, soto is pretty much the same he lacks charisma that barrera, and morales, and jcc jr had to go with there fighting style.

The majority of the latin market knows Pacquiao more then they know who soto thats how low soto is in terms of name recognition.

It's too bad, the only fighters I can think of that would give Soto name recognition prior to him fighting PAC are GBP fighters, again its bull****.

UFC -> WBA, WBO, IBF, WBC,ABC, XYZ, ZZZ, GBP, DKP, TOP RANK, MAIN EVENTS, WINKY PROMOTIONS, MP PROMOTIONS(LOL), hell, even Mike Tyson came out w/ his own promotional company called "MT Promotions" hehehe, **** even RJJ and now Mayweather have all jumped in this saturated market!!

                Heres my take on it.

barrera was ready to fight early against pacquiao in their first encounter
but when he got tagged hard by pacs superior speed and power he went
on the retreat and tried to outbox pac, which turned out to be the worst
thing he could of done as pac just pursued him and repeatedly landed
the crisp one-two combo striaight down the pipe. against marquez the
same happened again, marco got tagged by superior handspeed and
power and went on the retreat, trying to outbox marquez. again he lost.

if he can get his shots going like he did against erik morales in the 3rd
encounter then maybe he can hurt or stop manny as its been done before
but the likelihood is that he wil taste the power again, shut up shop and
either get stopped or lose a very wide decision. i wouldnt be surprised if
its alot like pac-em III, with barrera giving up when he realises hes beat.

Pacs my favourite fighter and 6th october is my birthday so any opponent
will be cool for me. this will be my first ever pvp i bet.

Im not sure on this I dont see Barrera giving up like Morales at all but I can see him getting tagged like Morales. Barrera better have something up his sleeve..... something veeeeeeeeerrry good. Not crazy about this one but if it happens hey why not see it.

I told myself...if not JMM then it should be MAB. This fight should happen.
