but actually I want to know where these fights have been confirmed?

No way in hell they let Taylor fight Pavlik before they mil their cash cow with a few bull**** fights, and Calzaghe continually ducks Kessler.

as much as i despise joe calzaghe, hes got substance. hes a damn good fighter... when hes not slapping. hes got excellent handspeed, he can move, hes got a good jab. and he can damn sure take a good punch.

taylor's a joke. hes got no bread and butter, no ace up his sleeve, nothing that brings him to the dance. hes an excellent athlete, but a mediocre fighter.

as for opponents: both pavlik and kessler are the total package. give, take, stick, move, box, brawl, keep going, dig deep. they both have legitimate shots at winning. but kessler's opponent is a seasoned vet who has a lot of tools. calzaghe's not gonna be a cakewalk.

taylor, as previously stated, is a joke fighting pavlik whos a total package. pavlik is superior in every way except for raw talent (which taylor has no idea how to tap). hes not going to squeak by kelly pavlik.

        pavlik has a better chance.

I don't give Kessler a great chance, so I picked Pavlik. I don't know about that fight, though. It's not easy to compare to other Taylor fights.

as much as i think kessler can beat calzaghe, i think kessler is going to have a harder time than pavlik against taylor.

calzaghe has maintained being consistent, where as taylor has varied between good and bad. not to say that calzaghe hasn't varied but his game plan has been the same, calzaghe just plays to his level of opposition where as taylor has been trying to change his game up and struggled..............

they're both exciting fights but i think taylor pavlik might have more fireworks and be more exciting..............

I think Kessler has the better chance. He's a proven champ that has faced legitimate challengers & won in an impressive fashion. He's also a good technical fighter with a great jab & a sharp right hand. Pavlik seems like he's a good fighter but the only challenge he had was against Miranda & he passed with flying colors. Outside of the Miranda fight we still don't know how good he is because of his comp. He's used to fighting guys ALOT smaller than him but Taylor is his size & technically much better than Miranda. I'm not high on Taylor but no fighter has walked over him yet; Hopkins or Wright included. He showed in those fights that he can hang with the big boys even though I thought he lost to Hopkins once & Wright. But those fights weren't easy for either & that shows you he deserves to mentioned as one of the elite Middles today.
