Name Some Fighters Your Wouldn't Call Youself A Fan Of But You Respect...

    I'll go first...

I wouldn't call myself a Lennox Lewis fan but I respect him because he beat everybody he faught, he faught the best heavyweights, he retired and never was tricked into coming back for $$$ and I thought it was impressive how he cameback after losing Rahman to knock Rahman out. Great heavyweight...

Felix Trinidad for having a big heart. Tito never stops trying to win. Even in the Hopkins fight he never gave up, his father had to jump in and stop it. Tito would have kept fighting.

George Foreman for finding a way to win the title back at 45 years old. Thats amazing.

I respect Marvin Hagler for his work ethic and drive to be the best. Hagler vs. Hearns was insane.

I have to think of some more...

Jermaine Taylor--Don't like him but fights boxers who are capable of beating him and never backs down!!!!

Flyod Mayweather--Everyone gots to at least respect him a little, I used to be a fan until I found out the kind of Duck and Dodge fighter he really is not only in the ring but also when picking out opponents!!!!

Winky Wright...although he can be boring and tends to overestimate his own worth/performances he is definitely a great boxer not afraid to take on any challenge. Hard not to respect that
Lennox Lewis...I just never could get behind him as the true HW champion maybe because he lacked a real career defnining win and he lost to two basic nobodies but he defended the title several times and objectively speaking has a chance with any of the greatest of all time on any given night.
Joe Calzaghe...although he has avoided fights that could take him out of this category he put an epic beat down on Lacy and has defended his title for quite some time. Yeah he slaps sometimes but he has great hand speed and you can't knock winning. If he beats Kessler he'll have pretty much shut me up for good.

I would have to say Floyd Mayweather because of his talent and things he does outside the ring. I just don't like the way he fights and how he considered hisself better than Robinson, Ali, and Leonard.

Floyd Mayweather, don't like him but it would be moronic of me not to respect his boxing skills.
Lennox Lewis, i think he talks **** but he was a good boxer.
