No question that Mayweather would make more money fighting Hatton. Hatton has a larger fan base composed of loyalists who will travel around the world to watch him fight and sell out an arena in no time.

Just to give you an idea of how twisted rabid Hatton fans can be, they took the song "Walking in a winter wonderland" and turned it into an ode to Ricky, and they sing it at all of his fights......

      .....I really couldn't make this **** up.....

I agree his fanbase is loyal and will come however far it is to see him fight. Cotto has a good fanbase as well, if the fight was in NY it would be huge, but in LV who knows. We already know Hatton can bring a lot fans to LV especially if he's going to fight the best boxer in the world. I hope this fight happens basically just for the atmosphere, it's going to be wild and crazy.

Quick culture lesson. That tune is sung at football grounds around the UK in appreciation of the fans' favourite players. As many Hatton fans also follow football the song has been modified to give support to their favourite boxers which is in sharp contrast to Mayweather fans who like to drop pins at Floyd fights and see whose makes the loudest noise in the otherwise deafening orchestra of silence.

I was only making a joke, however I did not know the song was football(soccer) related, so thanks for the input. Just to clarify, I'm a fan of both fighters, imagine that, eh?
