if Hatton really wants this fight now, especially @ 147...he's gonna have to watch what he eats n drinks...or start running every morning, if I were him I'd walk around 155 while being active....if he does that, we'd see the best Ricky Hatton...

if he doesn't, count that as an L on his record...

Here is the thing. All the talk of Mayweather's only chance of winning is to run is a bit premature. In my opinion the fights against Gatti and Judah showed how effective Mayweather can be when he is aggressive and matched with somebody his size. In the fights with Baldomir and De la Hoya he was fighting two guys with bigger frames and much less speed.(Baldomir fought at 147lbs but hes a pretty big 147.) He used his movement and speed to his advantage. Now with Hatton its a bit different. Hatton comes in Aggressive and throws punches at all angles but I think he will get countered a lot. Granted Mayweather is not going to stand in front of Hatton and trade, that would make no sense. What I think will happen though is Mayweather will frustrate Hatton with his hand speed and counter ability. I think the fact that Hatton has made a home at 140lbs (a place where Mayweather could have easily made a home as well) will be a factor. I think its a different Floyd Mayweather fight when he is at a more natural weight and you will see him a little more aggressive. Then again only time will tell.

hatton would be the best fighter mayweather has ever faced. i dont think it would be easy but he would be the favorite.

....I agree with you Scap. Floyd will get touched hard in this one and I don't think he likes getting hit to begin with. Hatton seems back on his game and this would be a dangerous fight for lil Floyds health for sure. I just don't see Mayweather taking this fight when it comes down to it.

He would end up running about 4 miles in the 12 rounds to try and catch Mayweather - and that is Mayweather's only chance of winning - to run. He is pretty damn good at it though so he may get lucky.
Why cant you see it happening? If 2 people want to fight and people want to watch it, what will get in the way of it happening.?
But Hatton might have to do extra roadwork for PBF. Instead of 6 miles every other day like i have heard he does, he should up it to 7 miles daily, or every other day. Or how often he does his running.

Money. I am just waiting for floyd to turn down the fight because he will not be earning enough from it.
