If you throw a headshot and your opponent ducks or turns their head so you end up rabbit punching them how is it your fault as a fighter? It's against the rules to turn your back on your opponent.

What will they say next? Castillo blinked at the time Hatton threw the punch so wasnt ready to defend against it, so Hatton was unsportsmanlike.?

Anyway...Sam Peter does it all the time and its illegal...If you miss, you miss, not hit tthe back of his head.

It is illegal to turn your back on a fighter, but doesnt mean it can be hit there.

When I 1st saw the shot I thought it was illegal, but after seeing the slomo from the front angle I thought it was legit. Now that I see all angles...its a whole new ball game.

Hey I thought Hatton dominated the fight anyway. Prolly would have stopped him regardless. But the kid is dirty...nothing new and not trying to rob him of a good win...but the evidence speaks for itself.
If ya wanna talk DIRTY fighters, see Cottos' lowblows on Zab...he's a rat

              I agree...Cottos hits low alot.

I dont see him headbutting, elbow smashing, and hitting the lungs though.

Every great athlete in every sport is a little dirty. Look at Michael Jordan and the crap he pulled against Byron Russel (I think it was game 6 of the finals)...he pushed off and it was an offensive foul. Look at Mark Messier in Hockey. Big, tough, strong kid who took cheap headshots. Look at Hopkins, when he headbutts and elbows they call him "crafty" and "experienced". It's a two way street, you know that right, boys???

Point is, there is a fine line between winning and losing in professional sports. Sometimes you just gotta let these guys fight.

There is also a fine line on fighting dirty and being a dirty fighter. A little dirt aint the end of the world...but when you constantly do it...its a problem. Thats just me...

If this was a kidney punch, then how come this issue was not raised on HBO after the fight? You know someone would've mentioned something.
