It was nothing like a kidney punch. Cotto beat Quintana with a kidney punch, but it was a legal punch because Quintana turned his back. Hatton didn't even go near the kidney on Castillo.

What McNulty doesn't understand, is that he's making himself seem childish and jealous of Hatton by making threads like this one. Is McNulty one of $iN's alts I wonder?

How does 33 make Castillo an old man? Is Hopkins an old man at age 42?

Hahaha! This is the poorest effort to discredit a fighter I have ever seen.
Castillo may be ring scarred and aged.
He may not be the fighter he was.
HOWEVER, all these pathetic theories of Castillo, a proud ring warrior with a legacy to be proud of, either being paid off or being fouled into submission are a true testament to the delusion of these poor, small people.
          You are low and pathetic.

Hes been a pro 7 years longer and is 5 years older. Hes been in more wars than Hatton and was Chavez Sr.'s sparring partner. Saying hes old is more than valid.

That wasn't the angle that the finishing shot was made at. Castillo's right arm was much further forward and away from his ribs when that one landed.

You can see that Castillo's elbow is forward and elevated away from his body. Also note that Hatton's forearm is parralel to the ropes when the punch lands.

In the other picture you can clearly see Hatton's forearm is almost perpendicular to the ropes, and Castillo's elbow is clamped into his side. Castillo is also more upright. The conclusion is that the two photographs were not taken at the same moment.

I thought that too but watch the vid after seeing the pix...its crystal. Hattons bringing his arm back.

When I 1st saw the shot I thought it was illegal, but after seeing the slomo from the front angle I thought it was legit. Now that I see all angles...its a whole new ball game.

Hey I thought Hatton dominated the fight anyway. Prolly would have stopped him regardless. But the kid is dirty...nothing new and not trying to rob him of a good win...but the evidence speaks for itself.

The picture showing the alleged kidney shot has Hatton punching way too high for a kidney shot anyway.

Furthermore it isn't dirty to hit someone in the back if they turn their back towards you as you're throwing, just as it isn't dirty to hit your opponent on the back of the head if they bend their head down. Accidental innit.
