Agree entirely, a very dangerous fight for PBF, Cotto has the power to possibly beat, and definitely damage Floyd. The speed and defensive skills of Floyd are what MC has to get around.

Whilst saying that, I don't think PBF will fight Cotto right now, if he fights at all it will likely be against Hatton. I think Hatton, who I like, could be overmatched against PBF.

As a fan of hatton who thinks he could beat floyd mayweather, i should really expect cotto to beat him aswell. But i just don't think he can, hes much slower than hatton and his chin seems a bit dodgy, i've seen him rocked a few times.

Yeah cos when floyd beat Judah, Judah was garbage, when cotto beats Judah, judah is the man.

Miguel Cotto is not a big enough name. Miguel Cotto needs some more wins before he and Floyd would begin to face off. Also, the only words I have heard Floyd speak of Cotto were kind. He stated he respected him as an up and coming and that he needed a lot of work. That was true.

However, I am not sure what I feel about them fighting. Miguel is so very kind and humble, which is rare. (That's probably why he beats everyone. He is not proud.) I do not even think a lot of trash talking would ensue because Floyd usually only does it to those opponents who do it to him. Whether it be to a great or small degree. Cotto can barely speak english so I can not see him running his mouth.


I think that Cotto, with a lot more work, would definitely be a challange for Floyd. He (Cotto) needs a lot of work on his defense if he is to ever do anything with Floyd. If he could get that, I think this would be an interesting fight. I think Floyd would win. Interesting fight none the less.


However, this fight is not happening in the near future, so who cares at this point, ya know.
