    Boxing's Ideal Schedule for 4th Qtr 2007-Early 2008

It's always fun to speculate about potential match-ups, and here is my idea of what would be awesome for boxing if these fights could all come together by the end of this year and early next year:

    Sept 29: Taylor-Pavlik (HBO WCB)
Oct 6: Pacquiao-MAB II/Soto (either one works for me)
    Oct 6: Mormeck-Haye (Showtime)
Oct ?: Chagaev-Ibrigamov, live from Russia (independent PPV)
Oct ?: Calzaghe-Kessler (HBO WCB), live from UK/Denmark
Oct ?: Junior Witter-Vivan Harris (no US TV)
Nov 3: Chad Dawson-Glen Johnson (Showtime)
    Nov ?: Cotto-Margarito (HBO PPV)
Nov ?: Andre Berto-Joel Julio (HBO BAD)
    Nov ?: Mosley-Cintron (HBO WCB)
Dec 1: Juan Diaz-Michael Katsidis (Showtime)
Dec ?: W.Klitschko-Valuev/Holyfield (gasp!) (HBO WCB)
With the whole Maskaev-Peter-Vitali love triangle unfolding, and the news of Chagaev-Ibragimov getting signed, that leaves Wlad with very few options for the end of the year--either a freak show down with Valuev or an ugly massacre vs. Holyfield, take your pick.
    Dec ?: Mayweather-Hatton (HBO PPV)
Dec ?: Arthur Abraham-Felix Sturm (no US TV)
Dec ?: Edwin Valero-Joan Guzman (HBO BAD live from Japan!)
    Jan 2008: Taylor-Trinidad (HBO PPV)*
*As a Tito fan I'd love him to get a tune-up, but I think Taylor is vulnerable regardless and after he beats Pavlik in a great fight this will be a huge event...
Jan 2008: V.Klitschko-Peter/Maskaev winner (HBO WCB)
Jan 2008: Malignaggi-Torres/Holt winner (HBO WCB)
Jan 2008: Edison Miranda-Lucien Bute (HBO BAD)
Feb 2008: Pacquiao-JMM II (HBO PPV)
    March 2008: Hopkins/Wright winner-Cal/Kessler winner (HBO PPV)
    April 2008: W.Klitschko-Ibragimov (HBO WCB)
    May 3, 2008: DLH-Cotto (HBO PPV)

Looks beautiful man. I'd rather see Tito/Pavlik from an action point of view, but I understand that Tito/JT would be the bigger fight because of Taylor "beating" Hopkins and getting the draw with Wright.

I don't know if Tito-Pavlik is big enough for Trinidad to come out of retirement for, though. I do think Taylor will beat Pavlik, however, making that a moot point.

Chagaev-Klit would be classic, but I don't see that happening

I tried to keep this as realistic as possible, except the BAD match-ups and DLH-Cotto, those are just fantasy fights at this point.

What are some other ideal prospect-vs.-prospect BAD matchups you guys would like to see?

Any more thoughts on this? I would like to add Arthur Abraham-Felix Sturm for December in Germany of course, and probably by necessity off US TV altogther, but the middleweight division needs a guy to be next in line after Taylor-Pavlik...
