Floyd has no problem fighting at 154 and weighing 147, Hatton could sign the contract for 147 and come in at 140 if he wants. He is probably physically bigger than Floyd anyway.

I agree with this. The weight makes little difference in this fight, each guy should come in how he's comfortable. Somewhere bettween 140 and 147 is fine. Floyd's not 154lbs anyway

Don't even start that ****. Floyd went from 130 up to 154 so don't even say Hatton can't go up 7 ****ing lbs.

It is not the same situation. Different styles can make it much easier to go up in weight. However, I do agree that there should be no reason why Hatton cant go up 7.

did hatton say he wants to fight now or that he need 3 fights at 147 before mayweather? if he said he needs more tune up fights then i lost all respect for this man. he is afraid of mayweather.

He said neither. He said that Mayweather is the fight that he wants next, but he knows he may not get it cos PBF is currently 'retired'.

C'mon Kayjay. You know if Hatton comes in at 140 and allows PBF to weigh 147, you may get to see a rare Mayweather tko of Hatton.

Like he said he only had 7 weeks to move up to 147. If he had more time he would obviously be better but floyd would still win.

How does he figure that? Hes always coming down from like 185...how does 7 weeks to "move-up" factor into anything?

if they fight it will be at 147, Hatton looked like crap at 147 Floyd has looked decent all the way up to 154 even if he lacks power there, if the Floyd that fought Gatti was at 140 to fight hatton it would be ugly.

Correction: It would not matter if it was at 140 or 147 because Hatton could come into the fight the same weight he comes in when he fights at 140, around 149 because Mayweather comes into the fight at about 148 on fight night at 147.


I also agree with people when they say that this fight might have to take place in England for it to be BIG MONEY.
