I'll reserve my judgement untill he fights someone who can actually punch.
Amir Khan....what do you think of him

He seem to have some good talent and could be a huge star in the UK. Warren has put him in there against bums and he has disposed of them. Once he gets in there with some decent quality fighter then we'll see how just good he is.Comment

When he moved up to light welter his punchs were extremly ineffective showing he proberly wont carry his power up if he ever moves up. Also in that same fight he was knocked down, albeit his foot sliped but he still got caught by a shot and it troubled him.Comment

......as a ****** im telling you right now, him being ****** wouldnt hinder his popularity at all, thats ******, we have a ****load of ****** atheletes in basektball and football and it doesnt hurt their popularity at all.Comment

I'm not too optimistic for Khan. He could outbox most but has he got the toughness for the pro game. I don't think his chin and composure will hold up to a decent punch. Put him in against a light punching technician and he'd probably do alright today tho.Comment

He is insanely fast, his next fight will be a very good test for him, but Limond is no puncher again....Warren must know something to be putting him in with people with no power. Kahn been down a couple times in the amateur's, but he was only 16-18 at the time so theres room to grow, get used to being hit. He's blew away all the opponents so far and the next couple of fights should be a sharp step up from now on. If he improves his defence and keeps his arms up more he could go on to great things, great talent and Frank needs to start moving him to European level after Limond.Comment

Yeah...he knows that you dont put a young and fairly inexperienced fighter in against big punchers. Very few successful boxers have done so throughout the years early in their career. Khan is no different. He needs to work on his ring generalship and experience, how to land punches under pressure etc and then you develop his chin later. No point in taking big risks too early.Comment
