Hatton opened the Door for PBF

After watching the Ricky Hatton fight yesterday ive come to my conclusion the best is yet to come, not for Ricky but the one and only Floyd Mayweather, he has his Duran (Hatton) his Hearns (Margarito/Williams) and his Hagler (Cotto) right in front of him now and all he has to do is get it... I take it he'll however seat out atleast a year or two while staying in great shape and when it seems like the Mayweather buzz is dying down and guys like Hatton, Cotto, and Williams are the big buzz at Welter he'll return and if Mosely is also on the horizon he can fight him two...


The thing is Ricky Hatton really proved himself yesterday by fighting a smart fight tying up when he needed to punching off the ty-ups and just smothering Castillo as he does everyone else, he would be a viable opponent for Mayweather and i think has a bigger buzz the Miguel Cotto

I truely hope he fights all of them, but lets look ahead to the future.

agreed the welterweight division is the best and the future looks amazingly bright!! i would love to see floyd fight cotto that would be a good tough fight for him i think, but nonetheless he will get a UD. he would slaughter hatton, margarito is out, that buzz died down everyone knows he wouldnt take mayweather, pressure or not, and williams, i dont think he is quite ready for the likes of floyd, even after he beats margarito, but cotto floyd would be great fight for boxing.
